The Clemson Tigers have added another commitment to their 2026 recruiting class, landing four-star wide receiver Naeem Burroughs out of Jacksonville, Florida. Burroughs, who attends The Bolles School, becomes the second commitment of the weekend during Clemson’s Elite Retreat.
The Tigers secured Burroughs’ commitment over USC, Texas, and Florida. He had been scheduled to take official visits to those programs this summer. Burroughs now joins offensive line commit Adam Guthrie, who committed to Clemson yesterday, bringing the 2026 class total to seven commits and making Burroughs the first wide receiver in the group.
Listed at 6-foot, 175 pounds, Burroughs is ranked No. 44 nationally, the No. 6 wide receiver, and the No. 5 prospect in Florida, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. Wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham adds a speedy slot receiver to the Tigers’ 2026 class with this commitment.
