Clemson women’s basketball player Jordy Griggs has entered the NCAA transfer portal, as first reported by Talia Goodman, On3. The former four-star recruit departs the program without playing a game for the Tigers, having missed the 2024–25 season due to injury.

Griggs transferred to Clemson from Kentucky, where she appeared in four games during her freshman season. The 6-2 guard was a highly regarded prospect coming out of Montverde Academy (Fla.).

Although her time at Clemson was impacted by injury, Griggs was expected to bring versatility and depth to head coach Shawn Poppie’s roster. Her decision to transfer now opens up a scholarship spot as Poppie continues building out the roster in year two of his tenure.

It remains to be seen where Griggs will land next, but she’ll look to get healthy and restart her college career at a new destination.
