Clemson Women’s Basketball continues to build through the transfer portal, landing a commitment from DePaul junior guard Taylor Johnson-Matthews, her representation at FreeGame Management told On3 Sports.

Johnson-Matthews, a 5-foot-9 guard, averaged 14.5 points and one steal per game this past season for the Blue Demons. Her scoring ability and defensive presence make her a valuable addition to head coach Shawn Poppie’s roster as the Tigers look to take a step forward in the ACC.

This marks Clemson’s fourth pickup from the transfer portal under Poppie this offseason, further solidifying the team’s depth and experience heading into the 2025-26 campaign. Johnson-Matthews brings a proven scoring touch and veteran leadership that should complement the Tigers' returning core.
