Georgia Tech sophomore transfer guard Rusne Augustinaite is heading to Clemson, sources tell On3sports. The 6-footer from Šiauliai, Lithuania, entered the transfer portal after the 2024-25 season, where she played in 26 games and averaged 5.2 points for the Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech wrapped up the season with a 22-11 record and an NCAA Tournament appearance, falling to Richmond in the first round.
This move marks a new beginning for Augustinaite, who brings international experience and a proven shooting touch to the Tigers. As a freshman in 2023-24, she started 17 of 33 games and averaged 10.8 points per game, leading Georgia Tech with 71 made threes at a 35.3% clip.
Before college, Augustinaite played at Montverde Academy in Florida and was a standout for Lithuania’s national team, helping them win the 2022 U18 Women’s European Championship.
She joins a Clemson program that finished 14-17 overall and 6-12 in the ACC last season, Augustinaite's perimeter shooting and high-level experience could be exactly what the Tigers need to take a step forward.
