Meeyah Green, a four-star combo guard in the class of 2026 and a Clemson Women’s Basketball commit, played a key role in leading the Webb School of Knoxville Lady Spartans to a 61-47 win in the TSSAA Division II-AA State Championship. Green scored 19 points, going three of four from behind the arc, and adding five rebounds, five assists, and six steals. Green's leadership and all-around skill set have been crucial for the Spartans, who secured their seventh state title. Her commitment to Clemson, announced on November 15, 2024, solidifies her as one of the top prospects in the country.

Beyond her commitment, Green has racked up plenty of individual accolades. She was named a finalist for the Division II-AA Miss Basketball Award, a testament to her impact on the court this season. The award will be presented on Tuesday, March 18th. Known for her ability to elevate her teammates, Green’s leadership extends far beyond scoring; she’s a difference maker on both ends of the floor and will be a huge asset to Shawn Poppie’s squad when she arrives in 2026. Congratulations to Meeyah Green and the Lady Spartans.
